I've always loved the juxtaposition of the elegant and the industrial, as in your illo and in the fashion shoot and in the reuse of these buildings. Pasadena has done a good deal of this in its revival/reuse of old buildings, and it's part of our city's charm. I wonder if the ladies of old would think us strange to admire a beautiful gown with a power station as a backdrop?

I'll definitely read the article when I have a moment as I love the idea of converting old building, especially when art is involved. Any chance of a Shell showing somewhere soon?

It reminds me of the beautiful Musee D'Orsay in Paris - an old train station, now turned into the most fabulous art gallery - an absolute delight. It would be lovely to see other cities following and using their old - unused buildings into some-thing similar.

And I came back from a trip to find your lovely Venetian meep waiting for me - I *love* it, thank you Shell, even more so on paper than on screen (the colors are more quietly vivid), and it's ever so charmingly packaged. It's an honour to have one of your originals.
